How Does God Introduce God To The World

Herein follows the direct introduction of Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari (Amma), incarnation of the Goddess on earth, by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself.

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has blessed countless millions during this Avatarship. One saintly soul who has received abundant blessings from Sai Baba is Sri Basavanna, of Mysore. In one of His communions in spirit with Sri Basavanna, Sri Sathya Sai Baba dictated matter to him that was to be taken literally. Sai Baba directed that the Divine Mother, Amma as Rajarajeshwari, should be introduced to a public audience or gathering only in the particular fashion that He had personally dictated to Sri Basavanna. We reproduce this introduction verbatim:

Dear Divine Souls,

I (Sri Basavanna) have been commanded by Amma to address you with a few words today. I therefore offer myself for the purpose ordained, to make you aware that this Amma is none other than The Devi, The Adishakti, Parvathi the Eternal Mother.

Now you are all seeing Her in this human form. But this is not Her real form. Her form is formless form – unperceivable One, the Source of all beings and to put it straight, the resting place of all beings also. She is Maya, the Prakruthi who emanated first in the gross form as “Desire of the Infinite – the Immutable.” When that Immutable coupled with Maya, the Action exploded. Reaction took place. Thus came the entire Universe, the whole Creation. Swami says Action – Reaction is Creation. In simple words it is to say that Immutable Shiva wed Shakti and brought forth this entire phenomenal World – the ever changing one.

The same Shiva/Shakti Avatar is before us now – Shiva being Sri Sri Sri Sathya Sai Baba and Shakti being Bhagavati Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari. Now this Sai Rajarajeshwari, the Parvathi, is granting you the audience today which is to be recorded in Golden Letters as a Red-Letter Day in your life-times. Devi Parvathi is leaving Her Foot Prints on the pages of time.

Now you have the privilege of seeing Devi in Her physical form, for you are chosen by Her as choicest persons to have Her choicest blessings. You are seeing Devi in Her Charming Smiles. That is Her nature (Swabhava), Sat-Chit-Ananda; Existence-Consciousness-Bliss. She Is Bliss. She makes your lives Charmful and all smiles – all the way through. Trust Her, She sympathises with you and provides you safety. If you have no trust in Devi, the Sympathy and Safety will be miles apart in Her Smiles. Do not lose Her Sympathy and Safety. Have intense longing and full faith in Her. Pray to Her with Devotion, Praise, and Holiness – your prayer should contain these elements. To Pray is to sit at Her Feet and aim the arrow of intense longing which has the sharp edge of full faith at Her and make sure the arrow misses not the target. She is kind to the good as Lalitha-Tripura Sundari and terrible to the bad as Karali. She is Gouri. She is Kali. She is Hymavathi Girije and She is Durga. She is One and all.

Souls Divine, I lay myself Body and Soul together at the Lotus Feet of Devi for having given me this opportunity of addressing you at this sacred place. Once again I appeal to you all to Surrender completely at the Lotus Feet of Devi and attain Liberation during this birth itself, for which Devi has come down to earth in Human form. Once again I pray to you all to make good use of this opportunity to your advantage to feel and have Oneness.

Introduction

The material you are about to read contains two references to God. It is the first source written about the Avatar to make such a reference - to the two forms of the One Shiva/Shakti present as the Avatar in this Kali Yuga. We are familiar with the use of the word God to refer to Sai Baba, for His Truth has been established around the world. However the second reference to God in our title refers to the revelation of the presence of the God form of Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari. Similarly, no reference yet written on the Avatar of Sri Sathya Sai Baba presents the two forms of the One God and declares the second figure to be His equivalent, in feminine form, present in the world today. Due to the rarity of this presentation of Shiva/Shakti, this introduction cannot be made by mere mortals, but relies instead upon Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Her Lord, who has brought Her to this earth.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba has the overall liberty of choosing the time for the advent of His feminine God form, His other half at Kailash. He chose the year of 1947, twenty one years after His own advent in 1926, for the incarnation of the physical form of Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari, whom we lovingly refer to as “Amma.” Sai Baba has given great care and protection to Amma – His own wealth of feminine form - throughout Her life, and He has placed Her in a family life (with a husband and children) to ward off the evil eye which the mundane world may have otherwise cast upon Her. Despite Her involvement with the physical world, Her Lord has ensured that She has no contact with “worldly dirt” at any stage, (keeping a promise He made to Her during a discussion She had with Him as She turned eighteen years of age.)

At His chosen time in 1997, Sri Sathya Sai Baba commanded Amma to announce Her Avatarhood. Without hesitancy or a second word to Sai Baba, whom, Amma states, “is My Lord,” She simply obeyed Him and announced Her Truth. These events have come to pass not to justify the desires of humanity, but because Sathya Sai Baba and Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari are the same Divinity – Shiva/Shakti, one principle in two forms.

God, who governs the universe with laws to ensure its health and continuation in accord with His Divine plan, who as Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has been known to the world for sixty four years and who has inspired devotion from people in over one hundred and sixty countries, also had a plan with respect to the advent of His own feminine form, Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari. Both Sai Baba and Amma have acted to assist humanity to learn the lesson and imbibe the absolute truth that without God, we are nothing. For we are only instruments in Their hands. Sai Baba has said that He is here for the upliftment of humanity. The Divine Mother shares His mission and prays that Sai Baba will utilize Her in full to this end.

It was for the sake of assisting devotees and all people of the world to partake of Truth that Sai Baba put the following question to Amma, the Divine Mother, Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari. He asked Her, “How do You introduce Yourself?”The reply given by the Goddess Avatar is of equal importance to the profoundly relevant question posed by Bhagavan Sai Baba, who put the same question to Amma three times. The full expression of this conversation between God and Goddess is revealed in the book Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwara Satcharitra which has been blessed by Sai Baba. The words of dedication offered by Amma which follow contain the details of this conversation and convey the importance of Their message to all:

Amma’s Dedication To Her Lord

Placed at Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Lotus Feet

“How can I dedicate anything when the word “I” does not exist with Me? When You, the Nirakara, Nirguna Parabrahma, have taken the Shiva/Shakti Avatar and descended to Earth with the name Sri Sathya Sai Baba, is it not imperative that Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari, who is the ardhangini of Shiva, also follow Her Lord to the Earth? The Vedas have also not been able to describe or elaborate on the inseparable principle of Shiva and Shakti. Only a handful of people are able to identify and recognize the two forms of the ‘paratpara’ principle who have descended on Earth in this Kaliyuga as two separate Avatars for the welfare of the universe. When Avatars take human form, They Themselves reveal to the world Their identities for the benefit of humanity.

“At the age of fourteen, You proclaimed to the world that You were an Avatar, but I proclaimed my Avatar on My fiftieth birthday as per Your command. At that time You questioned Me, “How do You introduce yourself?” to which I replied, “I have no introduction of My own without introducing You.” Again You queried, to which I answered, “My introduction is with You, but not without You.” For the third time You repeated the same question, to which I replied, “You are My introduction!” When this is so, what do I possess to dedicate to You?

“Baba, You, who are the ocean of compassion and forgiveness, have descended on Earth as an Avatar of Love. Since I have followed You to Earth, from the worldly point of view, I beg to dedicate these words to You in this context.

“May the rejuvenation of Sanathana Dharma on Earth and the associated benevolent deeds for which Your Avatar has dawned continue unceasingly without any hindrances. May the whole universe become “Saimaya” – one with and full of Sai. May the divine flame of Love which You have kindled glow brighter throughout the universe and may the fragrance of spirituality spread everywhere. These are My ardent prayers. May Your blessings be showered on Me, Rajarajeshwari, who has followed You to be a partner till my last breath in all Your benevolent deeds for the welfare of the universe. It is a sincere prayer of Sai Rajarajeshwari at the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan to enable the world to realize that Shiva and Shakti are the indivisible ONE.” Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari

Through the lens of Amma’s dedication, and through an appreciation of the thoughts and aims expressed therein, we begin to glimpse the Truth of Divine Mother Srimad Sai Rajarajeshwari. Sacred slokas from the NadiGranth, revealed in this testament, state that the Divine Mother shall take birth; that Iswara’s (Bhagavan Baba) care and protection of Her shall take place; that both shall fulfil Their common mission of establishing dharma; and that together They shall return to Kailash. The fulfilment of these truths began in 1947 and continues today. This awareness leads us to ask, “Who other than Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, being an Avatar Himself, has the authority to introduce the Avatar of the Divine Mother?” Only Sai Baba can announce Amma, and the announcement has begun.

As you will read herein, many years ago Amma told Sai Baba that She would not perform miracles. She has maintained this statement, yet many devotees have experienced Her Divine darshan, felt Her Godly Love, and received Her timely guidance and help. As will be shown in this testament, Sai Baba has indirectly and subtly directed some to make their way to Mysore for the darshan of Amma to receive these blessings. Amma has, unceasingly and with Divine Love, been carrying out Manava Seva activities.

In light of this background of Truth and Introduction, let us therefore prepare now to open the eyes of our souls and the doors of our hearts to receive that which we are graced to be offered by the Shiva/Shakti Avatar of our age. Since we cannot question Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as to how His mission shall unfold, we also cannot question the timing of His introduction of the Divine Mother at Puttaparthi now. He is the total Master and all is done according to Divine time and Will. Whatever the Avatar does is for the good of the mankind. Whenever one might suspect another or ridicule another human being’s adoration of an Avatar, one must stop and ask, “Do I know Truth?” We must therefore let Truth announce Truth. Who else but this Truth is able to introduce another Avatar to the world? The answer is clear: Only this Truth – Sathya – Sai Baba.

“One can attain divinity only when one stops hiding one’s mistakes and highlighting faults of others. It is a great sin to search for others’ faults. Instead, look for your own. Consider your smallest defect as a great blunder and try to rectify the same. Ignore the faults in others, however big they may be. Do not criticize others; instead criticize and examine yourself – ‘Is this the way I should behave having been born as a human being?’ True spiritual practice lies in searching out one’s own mistakes and correcting them. It involves the giving up of evil tendencies and the developing of noble traits. That is ‘sadhana’ (spiritual practice). ‘Sa’ symbolizes divinity which is the embodiment of all forms of ‘Dhana,’ wealth.” BSSSB

I have neither birth, nor death.

Unlike living beings, I have no karma.

I am unaffected by the presence or absence of people, I am the eternally true living-force,

This one attribute is natural to divinity.

I am with attributes, and beyond all attributes,

I am shankara as well as Shakari,

The Self is ever the same.

I am apparent and also non-apparent,

I am bound, yet I am the remover of bondage,

Though I appear to be in bondage I am free
